Making of Call of the Wild

I haven't been updating my News section for a while, because since early spring I have been busy working on my new series "Call of the Wild". It is a series of photographs of people in nature, and it is sponsored by Ontario Arts Council project grant and by Parcs Quebec. Here are some snapshots from my recent trip to Gaspesie, during which I was working on this project.

My book Weather Report published by Blue Sky Books

I am pleased to announce that my Weather Report series has been published in a book form by the Blue Sky Books, an initiative of the Blue Sky Gallery, Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts. I would like to warmly thank Chris Rauschenberg, who is the main force behind the Blue Sky Books idea. I also have special thanks to my friend and a great artist Victor Gad, who created a cool illustration included in the book.

Weather Report in group exhibition in Ottawa

City of Ottawa is presenting the artworks which has been recently purchased by their public art collection. It's titled "This is us now". Three of my prints from the Weather Report series are exhibited there. One in the Karsh-Masson Gallery in City Hall, two others in Atrium Gallery.

Upcoming show - VIP's in Mississippi
