VIP exhibition opening coming up at Temiskaming Art Gallery

The exhibition of my series VIP Portrait Gallery opens this Friday, March 17 at Temiskaming Art Gallery in Temiskaming Shores, ON, Canada. The opening reception starts at 7 pm and I will be present there. The exhibition will be on display until May 12.

I am still working on my new project titled Call of the Wild, sponsored by the Ontario Arts Council grant and kindly co-sponsored by Parcs Quebec. Here are some of the photographs from this series, which I took this summer and fall in Quebec and Ontario.

Baroque exhibition in Germany

My photograph from the Garden of Eden series is now being presented at the great, comprehensive exhibition about Baroque, at the Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen, in Mannheim, Germany.

Making of Call of the Wild

I haven't been updating my News section for a while, because since early spring I have been busy working on my new series "Call of the Wild". It is a series of photographs of people in nature, and it is sponsored by Ontario Arts Council project grant and by Parcs Quebec. Here are some snapshots from my recent trip to Gaspesie, during which I was working on this project.

My book Weather Report published by Blue Sky Books

I am pleased to announce that my Weather Report series has been published in a book form by the Blue Sky Books, an initiative of the Blue Sky Gallery, Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts. I would like to warmly thank Chris Rauschenberg, who is the main force behind the Blue Sky Books idea. I also have special thanks to my friend and a great artist Victor Gad, who created a cool illustration included in the book.

Weather Report in group exhibition in Ottawa

City of Ottawa is presenting the artworks which has been recently purchased by their public art collection. It's titled "This is us now". Three of my prints from the Weather Report series are exhibited there. One in the Karsh-Masson Gallery in City Hall, two others in Atrium Gallery.

My current exhibitions in Alberta

Here are some photographs from my two exhibitions in Alberta. One of them, which has just ended, was at the McMullen Gallery , Edmonton, AB.

Another one is taking place at the Art Gallery of St. Albert  in St. Albert, AB until November 28th, 2015.
