Prints from Weather Report

Recently, I received a message from someone who had seen my Weather Report in an exhibition several months ago and now he decided to buy four prints from this series. Usually, when I sell prints to people who liked them at the show, it happens during the show, actually in most cases at the opening night, so it was a nice little surprise. It made me wonder how many people somewhere in the world are sitting now and thinking of buying my prints.

Photos from my exhibition at The Rooms Provincial Gallery

Here are some photos from the first solo exhibition of my "V.I.P. Portrait Gallery" series. It opened on September 19th at The Rooms Provincial Gallery in St. John's, Newfoundland. It will be there until January 4th, 2015. In the same time they are showing two other very interesting exhibitions: "Beautiful monsters: Beasts and fantastic creatures in early European prints", traveling exhibition from National Gallery of Canada and "Digital Beasts", installation by Kyle Bustin, who participated in The Rooms residency program. So all three shows are about fantastic creatures, I think it's very clever.

Framing of my works for this exhibition was supported by Ontario Arts Council Exhibition Assistance Grant.

The exhibition of my series Garden of Eden opens on Thursday, July 24th at the Two Rivers Gallery in Prince George, BC, Canada. I will be present at the opening, which starts at 7:30 pm. and I will give an artist talk with slide-show. The exhibition will be there until October 12, 2014.
